Hello again, sorry it's been so long I've had a crazy few months. I've been on holiday and started a new job so blogging took a back seat for a while.
My new job is why I bought the item I'm writing about today, I started working in a veggie/vegan restaurant. The job means I'm constantly washing my hands and dishes resulting in dry, cracked skin on my hands. It was starting to get really painful even after using hand cream they were still really sore and red.
I headed over to the Lush website to see if they had anything that would help and came across the Salted Coconut Hand Scrub and thought it seemed like it would be a good start.
So later that I day before work in popped into Lush and picked up a tub. Firstly the hand scrub smells good, something that comes as a given with any Lush product, secondly it seems like the small pot I picked up will last quite a while as I only used about a teaspoons worth on first use and it was more than enough.
This product is super easy to use. I washed my hands and then before drying scooped out some of the hand scrub and rubbed it all over my hands, my hands were quite dry and it hurt a little to start with but I'm guessing that's just because my hands were so painful anyway, I kept scrubbing for about a minute or so and then washed off the remaining scrub. Afterwards my hands were so soft and refreshed. All of the dry patches were gone and after about half an hour the redness went.
I followed up with a good helping of Washed Out Soap Co Body Butter to add some moisture and my hands were back to being in top top condition.
If you are like me and suffer from dry hands I would seriously recommend this product, I think it would also work a treat if you work with cars or bikes or get dirty hands at work as the salt would help remove the grime.
Whilst at Lush I also picked up the Golden Hands Hot Hand Mask, I'll be trying it next time my hands are dry and I'll write about that also. If you enjoyed reading this post let me know and I'll do more posts like this. My next post will be food related so keep your eyes open later in the week.
Thanks for reading
